MISSION

We are a Mississippi Non-Profit Corporation formed by a group of black farmers and land owners who saw a need within the farming community for us to come together as a group to address issues facing minority and socially disadvantaged farmers and rural communities.

Goals:

1. Provide agricultural education and farm management to socially disadvantaged and minority farmers
2. Assist local farmers and communities in rural development
3. Increase/maintain minority land ownership
4. Work with local farmers to provide fresh vegetables and produce to our communities, schools and healthcare facilities
5. Work with local farmers and communities to establish a farmers market
6. Work with area youth groups to promote the agricultural industry within the minority community
7. Support local schools in implementing the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program.
